Dawn Smith helped found the SCCIC back in 2015. Now she is back as the chair, and excited to be leading the co-op through it's next stage of growth. Dawn has a masters degree in Community and Regional Planning from UBC, and works as a policy analyst in the provincial government. She believes that local impact lending makes the sunshine coast a better place to live, work, and play.

Donna McMahon has worn many community hats on the Sunshine Coast since she moved here in 1996, including chair of the Gibsons & District Public Library board, Executive Director of the Gibsons & District Chamber of Commerce, member of the Community Futures Loans & Investment Committee, and reporter for The Local Weekly. In 2018 she was elected as Area E Director for the Sunshine Coast Regional District and represents the SCRD on SCREDO (Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Organization).

Marilyn Pederson has lived and loved the Sunshine Coast since moving to Gibsons in 2003.  An Insurance Advisor for the Co-operators Insurance was the major focus of her career.  Community involvement and volunteerism became very intertwined with that career moving her to be on the board of the long ago Gibsons Landing Business Association and the  Sea Cavalcade Society.  Marilyn has recently retired from her 16 year Volunteer position of Emergency Support Services Director for the Sunshine Coast and a part of the Emergency planning Response Team. Marilyn is now the Chairperson for the Gibsons and District Fire Commission on the Investment Co-op Board and very happy to be retired in this amazing Community.
